Last year we collected and delivered 2,658 eye glasses to the Bucks County Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired. We thank you for your donations.

HOMES FOR OUR TROOPS

July , 2017

``Christmas in July,`` compliments of the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant in Bensalem, 7.25.17. This event solicited donations to support the ``Homes for Our Troops,`` an organization that donates and builds specially adapted homes for injured post-9/11 Veterans. Several of our Lion members have personally contributed to this fund.

A LIONS ANNUAL DONATION

Newtown, PA

Lions' Al Minquez makes his personal annual donation to the Bucks County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, located in Newtown, PA. Since 2011, Al has donated over $12,000 in assorted craft and sewing notions, machines and custom hand crafted jewelry. Next to Al, is Anne Marie Hyer, Executive Director for the Association.

HOLIDAY FOOD BASKET DISTRIBUTION

2017, Bensalem

2017 Bensalem Holiday Food Baskets Distribution Annually, the Bensalem Lions Club in cooperation with the Bensalem Department of Public Safety and Bensalem Township with donations from schools in Bensalem and generous area merchants, provide holiday food baskets to residents in need, hoping that they will brighten their Holiday Season.
