About Flea Market

Since 1987, the Bensalem Lions Club has been providing a site for hosting our Saturday Flea Market managed by Lions and their volunteers, the season running from April to mid-November. For years, we had been utilizing the parking lot of the Neil A. Armstrong Middle School (2201 Street Road); the school has been closed since 2005. Since the property has recently been resold, we’ve had to relocate to an interim site adjacent to the Cecelia Snyder Middle School, 3330 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem. The school parking lot is about ¼ mile west from Street Road.

Since the Market is open to “shoppers” from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., vendors should be onsite to set up their tables or displays by 6:45 a.m. Spaces are limited during the summer months. Therefore, “early risers” have a much better chance to choose their spots.

As a bonus, the Lions Club provides a food service truck offering hot/cold beverages and snacks. And, as another bonus, our own porta-potty frequently cleaned after use.

From the time the Flea Market begins receiving vendors, the following Lions will be able to provide assistance, collect market fees, and assign table/spot places:

  • Marc Winokur

  • Jeannine Price

  • Tom Vasek
