Our Scholarship Program

We are proud to award scholarships of $1,000 to Bensalem residents

who are High School Seniors and who meet our qualifications.

 

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP LIONS

The Bensalem Lions Club awards scholarships to Bensalem Township Seniors who demonstrate outstanding community service. Our club awards $1,000 scholarships to those students who apply and meet all of the eligibility requirements and could use financial support to help fulfill their academic goals. The student must be accepted and attend an accredited college or university or vocational school.

The Bensalem Lions Club awards scholarships to Bensalem Township students who demonstrate outstanding community service. Our club awards $1,000 scholarships to those students who apply and meet all of the eligibility requirements and could use financial support to help fulfill their academic goals. The student must be accepted and attend an accredited college or university or vocational school.

Whether the student anticipates entering college, a university, a technical school or any other educational pursuit beyond high school, and if he/she has been a resident of Bensalem Township for at least a year, we would like to offer them the opportunity to compete for these scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academics, community and student involvement, and need. Students, who wish to apply, should contact their guidance officer at their high school to obtain all of the eligibility criteria, preferably in early March.

The Lions Club Scholarship Committee will review all applications and select the winners. Winners will be notified by mail. The scholarships will be awarded on live TV during a Bensalem Township Council Meeting.
